What is the Colorado University Student Nurses Association (CUSNA)?
We are led by nursing students from the University of Colorado. Together we prepare and support nursing students for their academic success, careers and futures.
Meeting once a month, we are able to set up guest speakers for our Pathways to Nursing Series that provides students an inside look into nursing specialties like emergency room, surgical, operating room, public health nursing and pediatrics. In addition, we invite speakers to share information about Doctors Without Borders, nursing research and graduate programs. Not to mention our career fairs, academic support, ice cream socials ...and the list goes on! Added benefits for board members include better recognition with instructors, sitting on committees, providing academic input and extra scholarship options through the college.
