Office of Research and Extramural Affairs
The mission of the Office of Research and Extramural Affairs (OREA) is to support faculty and students in the College of Nursing in all aspects of the development of nursing knowledge from empirical research.
The college's Office of Research carries out this mission through:
- consultation for the development of faculty research
- facilitation of intramural grants for pilot studies
- identification of funding source
- development of grant applications
- ongoing training and education
- management of funded research grants
- statistical support and analysis of data
- assistance with the dissemination of results
- publication of research activities
