The College of Nursing’s Faculty Research Committee is composed of four (4) voting members: two (2) active professorial faculty researcher (elected), one (1) professorial faculty member (elected), and one (1) graduate student appointer by the College of Nursing Student Executive Committee. The associate dean for research and extramural affairs is an ex officio, non-voting member of the committee.
Members will be elected for a two-year term. Research committee members shall have primary responsibility for collaborating with the associate dean for research and extramural affairs in promoting the overall research mission of the college.
The research committee promotes the conduct of intramural research in the college and establishes policies regarding allocation and evaluation of intramural research funding for faculty and students.
