Biobehavioral Science and Health and Illness Foci
Biobehavioral science is one of the two primary foci of research and doctoral study within the College of Nursing. Faculty experts provide training for junior faculty and students in the investigation of the interrelationships among psychosocial, behavioral and biological processes related to health and illness. These processes include phenomena, determinants, interventions and outcomes important to the prevention, progression or management of a disease, symptom or other health state across the lifespan.
