Janet Beezley

Jan Beezley, MSN, APRN-BC is certified both as an adult and a pediatric nurse practitioner. She has practiced as a nurse practitioner for more than twenty years in family practice. She has maintained a faculty practice site at the Samaritan House Homeless Shelter in Denver for the past fourteen years. Prior to this, she worked at The People's Clinic in Boulder, Colorado as an advanced practice registered nurse and at Denver Health as a registered nurse.

In addition to her faculty practice, Jan completes site visits for the Adult Family Nurse Practitioner program. Jan teaches Advanced Assessment, and Professional Role. She is on the Governor's Advisory Board for Community Health and involved in CU-UNITE, a new urban underserved track and a collaboration between the College of Nursing and School of Medicine.

  • Beezley has a faculty practice site at the Samaritan House Shelter for the homeless. The shelter serves about 300 people per night. She provides primary care, case management and a site for nurse practitioner students to complete their clinical practicum.
