Fara Bowler is the Coordinator of the Clinical Education Center and Simulation Suite for the College of Nursing. She brings clinical expertise as an Adult Nurse Practitioner practicing in areas of Primary Care, Cardiac Electrophysiology and Risk reduction in Primary Cardiology. As a clinical registered nurse she practiced in Critical Care and Cardiology. Bowler and colleague Gail Armstrong, participated in 2010-2011 Health Information Technology Scholars Program (HITS) Using an EMR to Teach Quality and Safety Across Courses. She maintains memberships and active involvement in National League of Nursing, American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nursing, American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning, and Simulation Society for Healthcare. She holds national certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner with the AANP.
