Esther Gliman-Kehrer completed her midwifery training in 2002 at the University of Colorado. She joined the University Nurse Midwives in November 2010. Prior to joining the University Nurse Midwives, Esther worked in private practice in Wyoming for 11 years as a midwife and family nurse practitioner. Esther has a master's degree in maternal-child community health care from the University of Wyoming, where her thesis work focused on analyzing the association between elevation of sodium in breast milk as an early marker of insufficient milk production in lactation. Esther completed her DNP at the University of Colorado in 2012 after completing a quality improvement project to improve screening for tuberculosis in high risk OB populations. Esther enjoys working with diverse populations and high and low risk pregnancies in an academic setting.
