Amy Artmann has been a certified nurse-midwife since 2000. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Colby College in Maine and a master's degree in nurse midwifery from Yale University. Artmann joined the University Nurse Midwives Practice in 2003, providing full-scope care to women throughout the life cycle. Prior to joining the practice she worked for the Indian Health Service in Pine Ridge, South Dakota providing prenatal and primary care to women of the reservation.
Her interests include pregnancy, gynecologic health, and breastfeeding issues. Additional skills include ultrasound and Spanish language.
Artmann is a midwife with the Center for Midwifery and practices at the Campus Health Center.
