The mission of the Office of Research and Extramural Affairs (OREA) is to champion faculty and students in the College of Nursing through a variety of support for all aspects of the development of nursing knowledge from empirical research. The mission is carried out through consultation for the development of faculty research, facilitation of intramural grants for pilot studies, identification of sources of support for projects, development of grant applications, management of sponsored projects, analysis of data, assistance with dissemination of results and publication of research activities.
