The pediatric site at Sheridan Health Services has been operating out of the Sheridan Middle School location for 17 years. The goal of the clinic is to provide a location for comprehensive pediatric care for children with Medicaid, CHP+/Colorado Access, United (in process), Anthem (in process), or self-pay. The clinic is able to offer same day sick visits for patients needing to be seen immediately. Well child visits are done for all children on a yearly basis and as needed for sports physicals. Services routinely offered to the children include:
- Sick visits
- Well child check-ups/physicals
- Immunizations
- Blood Lead tests
- Asthma care/follow-up
- Health Coaching as needed
- Anticipatory guidance and education for patients and parents
- Acute care for the diagnosis and treatment of minor illness, infections and injuries
- Routine lab tests
- Sick visits
- Management of chronic health conditions
- Medications for identified health conditions
