The University of Colorado Sports Medicine is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education (CE) for Certified Athletic Trainers. This program has been approved for a maximum of 6.75 hours of Category A CEUs. Certified Athletic Trainers are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent participating in the CE activity. BOC Approved Provider # P3598. 

The objective of this course is to educate Physicians, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Paramedics on the best methods of managing injured athletes to return to play. According to the education levels described by the PDC, the following continuing education course is considered to be Advanced Level. This course is led by Armando Vidal, MD, Associate Professor at the University of Colorado Denver Department of Orthopedics.
