The RNA Bioscience Initiative provides grants for research. Two types of grants fund larger comprehensive projects and smaller bioinformatic-focused analyses. In addition, the Initiative funds stipends for graduate students ("RNA Scholars") to work on RNA-related projects.
Funds for postdocs are available in two forms. The "RNA Fellows" program provides stipends to postdocs in individual labs, while the "Informatics Fellows" develop and apply new approaches for the analysis of RNA sequencing data.
Finally, travel funds are available for students and postdocs to present their work at meetings. Details on all of these programs will soon be available on the Training page.
