My research interests started out very general when it comes to reproductive science. I have always been more interested in the effects of diet and nutrition on reproductive systems and women's health. I chose to do my thesis work with Jim McMananman because his lab focuses on a more clinical approach in the study of effects of dietary lipid composition on pregnancy and lactation.

I am originally from Wisconsin, and when I came to Colorado I definitely got sucked in to the Colorado mentality. I love to snowboard, even though this is the first year I got a season pass, I run, hike, bike, camp, etc. pretty much just like anyone else living here.
