Study Title: A Health Information Resource Technology to Reduce Disparities

Principal Investigator: Lisa Schilling, MD, MSPH, & Bethany Kwan, PhD, MSPH

COMIRB No: #19-1562

Version Date: 3.4.2020

We need your voice!

Please consider volunteering to help develop a health information resource, or application (app), for the Transgender, Non-Binary, and Gender Expansive community. Work alongside a research team at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, One Colorado, and the UCHealth Integrated Transgender Program to make Transgender-related health information more accessible. Anyone 18 or older is welcome to participate. Each session is two hours long and you will be compensated $50.00 for each session attended.

Get involved!

We invite you to volunteer for one or more in a series of focus groups. If eligible, you can sign up for one or more, depending on interest and availability.

Volunteers will meet in small group settings with other volunteers to share their opinions and ideas on credible sources of health information and accessing healthcare, as well as mobile phone apps and features. If you choose to participate, you will be asked questions on the following topics: priorities and values, information seeking scenarios, health information, healthcare, the impact of daily experiences, what sources of online information you currently use, what you like/dislike about those sources, and how should an app display/present health information.

To check eligibility, seek clarifying information, and see if you're the right fit for this study, contact Brad Morse at brad.morse@cuanschutz.edu or 303.724.5138.
