Our clinical faculty
Our clinical faculty includes physical therapists (PT), occupational therapists (OT), speech-language pathologists (SLP) and rehabilitation engineers. This cross-disciplinary team has extensive experience and expertise in highly specialized areas to meet the assistive technology needs of each individual, regardless of their age, functional limitation or complexity of need.
We believe that positive outcomes result from a comprehensive assessment which begins with a review of the client’s needs in every environment in which they are engaged. Our clinical faculty specializes in assessing the unique needs of each individual, taking into account their personal goals, preferences and priorities. We consider the client and their family or caregivers as primary members of the team, and our role is to assist them in making a decision regarding the most appropriate technology to help maximize their function and health.
Fees for clinic services
Payment for clinic services provided by ATP faculty can come from many sources, depending on the service requested. We can bill an individual's health insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare, for many (though not all) services through our UPI Specialty Therapy Clinic. We also take private pay, as well as payment from a variety of agencies and programs serving the disabled through our Direct Assistive Technology Services program. For assistance determining funding resources, or for our fee schedule, please contact us at 303.315.1280.
