Our mission at Assistive Technology Partners (ATP) is for persons with cognitive, sensory and/or physical disabilities to reach their highest potential at home, school, work and play through the addition of appropriate assistive technologies to their lives. ATP is part of the Department of Bioengineering, College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus, and encompasses programs in four major areas: Clinical Services, Outreach and Information Services, Research and Engineering, and Education and Professional Development.
Audio Information Network of Colorado (AINC)
AINC provides free audio services that help blind, visually impaired, and print disabled individuals maintain independence and stay connected to their community. Listeners have access to nearly 100 Colorado newspapers, grocery/discount ads, magazines, and other local publications. Volunteers read and record in English and Spanish. Listening options include pre-tuned digital receivers, telephone, or internet. Programming is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Autism Community Store is a local, parent-owned autism and special needs resource. This special little shop in Denver helps families, teachers and therapists get hard-to-find products for individuals on the autism spectrum, visual learners and those with communication or sensory processing challenges at reasonable prices. Even though our focus is lifespan issues from age 21 to end of life, we also will work with public schools to develop comprehensive programs, which will "successfully" transition youth into adulthood, finding their own niche as an adult in society. Chanda Plan Foundation
Mission: Improving the quality of life for persons with physical disabilities through direct services and systemic change to access integrative therapies. Our direct services include acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, adaptive exercise and adaptive yoga. Services are provided at the foundation and at provider locations nationwide. Integrative therapies promote wellness and healing for acute and chronic conditions caused by physical disabilities. Better health outcomes and lower medical bills galvanized our pursuit for systemic change to have integrative therapies covered by Medicaid.
Colorado Advisory Council for Persons with Disabilities
Serves in an advisory capacity to ensure the equality of opportunity, independent living, and economic self-sufficiency for persons with disabilities living in Colorado, to the Governor's Office and General Assembly on issues relating to the needs, problems and other concerns of people with disabilities. The Colorado AgrAbility Project (CAP) is part of a national effort to help farmers and ranchers and their families affected by an injury, long term illness or other functional limitation remain independent. Colorado Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
The Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program, offered by the Colorado Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing within the state of Colorado, provides FREE telecommunication equipment, such as amplified and captioned phones as well as accessories (ring signalers and neck loops or head sets) to assist the deaf and hard of hearing, to those who qualify. the program also includes iCanConnect Colorado, which allows deaf-blind individuals to receive telecommunications equipment, such as iPads, Braille devices, screen readers, etc., at no charge.

The Colorado Talking Book Library provides free library service to Colorado residents who can't read standard pint. Audio, Braille and large print books are available and go through the mail postage paid. Outdoor Buddies Inc.
Outdoor Buddies mission is to provide opportunities, through a volunteer organization, for those who have been deprived of enjoying outdoor experiences. Outdoor experiences include hunting, fishing, boating, camping and education in the use of the outdoors for recreational activities. The opportunities are available to all, with no cost (other than personal expenses) and no discrimination due to race, color, creed, religion, sex or family status. We endorse the principle that wildlife and the environment are to be protected, preserved and managed for the benefit of all people. All volunteer organization. All funds realized through donations and fundraising events are used directly to improve and expand our programs. We will be releasing our initial product, the QX-1, in the Fall of 2015. The QX-1 is designed to provide rear wheel suspension for Tilt-in-Space manual wheelchairs. These chairs are not manufactured with suspension and jolts that occur during daily activity are directly transferred to the people that sit in them. Standard left-hand, 90 degree hand controls, six way power transfer seat in the driver position, and power side doors are available on some models. Wilderness on Wheels Foundation (WOW)
WOW has been in Colorado for 30 years, giving person with disabilities and their families an opportunity to hike, fish, camp, picnic and more, on 20 acres of Colorado wilderness area. Located 65 miles west of Denver, at the base of Kenosha pass, their is ample opportunity for daytime picnics and fishing, or overnight camping in tent spaces, huts or cabins.
