Denice Roberts, MEd, Instructor/Assistive Technology Specialist. Ms. Roberts completed her Masters of Education and Human Resource Studies from Colorado State University - Ft. Collins with a concentration in Adult Education and Training in 2008. She coordinates the ATP/Western Slope Technical Assistance Center (WesTAC), a satellite of Assistive Technology Partners. ATP/WesTAC is located in Grand Junction, CO. Ms. Roberts specializes in computer assistive technology, ergonomics and independent living conducting evaluations, training and presentations for individuals with disabilities, their families and service providers. She was instrumental in bringing the Adaptive Home Exhibit to Grand Junction. Ms. Roberts has over eighteen years of experiences working with computer assistive technology and individuals with disabilities.
What I love about my job...
“What I like best about my job is the variety of activities. I enjoy the outreach to the community. I am passionate about training individuals to use assistive technology. I enjoy working on the Western Slope, seeing Colorado while driving to Montrose, Durango, Craig, Glenwood Springs or other cities on the Western Slope. I run the WesTAC office, a satellite of Assistive Technology Partners.”
