Kristina Hightshoe, MSPH

Kristina Hightshoe, MSPH has been with the University of Colorado School of Medicine since 1999. In 2004, she joined JFK Partners as a research coordinator.  Ms. Hightshoe has extensive experience coordinating large research studies within culturally diverse communities in collaboration with local, state, and national partners.  Her research focus has been in environmental and developmental health of young children and she has presented and published on these topics. Ms. Hightshoe currently manages the Colorado site of the CDC-funded Study to Explore Early Development (SEED), a large multi-state, multi-year epidemiologic study of autism risk factors, specifically looking at physical and behavioral characteristics of children ages 2 through 5. She also coordinates the Screening and Linkage to Services for Autism (SaLSA) study of patient navigation services for early diagnosis and treatment in a minority, disadvantaged population through an urban community health care system.
