Notify GAC Chair and Kenton Owsley​ of choice of thesis advisor. Official transfer to thesis lab must take place by July 1st.

Take Preliminary Examination Parts I and II. Date is set by Graduate School.

RSVP/make arrangements to attend CSD retreat in October

Two weeks before the end of the semester:

  

Register for fall of second year:

  • CSDV 7650, section 0V1: Research in CSDV (1-4 units)
  • CSDV 7670: Advanced Topics Course (optional*), units vary by course
  • (*must take one Advanced Topics Course per year and register for minimum of 5 credit hours in Fall and minimum of 5 credit hours in Spring)

 

 


Note: We recommend that students take their comprehensive exam during the summer of the 2nd year, but the exam must be completed by the end of January 1 of the third year.
