You will be randomized into one of three groups, either:

1) A control group that will:

- Fill out short surveys (10 minutes total) at one week, one month, three months, and six months

- No intervention

2) One of two stress reduction intervention groups that will:

- Fill out short surveys (10 minutes total) at one week, one month, three months, and six months

- Utilize one of two downloadable interventions for 20 minutes three times per week for three months

What is the study about?

We are researching the use of web-based interventions in reducing health sciences student burnout.

What is burnout?

Burnout is a term that refers specifically to a state of increased emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and a decreased sense of personal accomplishment that has been shown to have a negative impact on career satisfaction, health and quality of patient care as well as increased attrition from the health care field.

Who is eligible?

Any health sciences student at Anschutz Medical Campus.  You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this study.

Study interventions will be offered online at no cost to the participant.
