Students for Global Health (SGH) is a student-run organization that aims to connect and integrate students in graduate health programs who wish to share their skills with underserved patient populations throughout the world.
SGH holds lunch lectures throughout the year presenting UC Denver student projects and research in global health. We also have a journal club which meets on a regular basis to discuss new research in global health.
Officer meetings are held twice every month at both the UCD Anschutz and Colorado and 9th Ave. Campus. Anyone wishing to get more involved in SGH is welcome to come to the officer meetings or email the officers with their ideas.
Please share any international health opportunities that you have participated in or know about with us, and we will add them to our Global Health Database, a comprehensive, interactive list of health related opportunities for students and recent graduates. We will be regularly updating this database and would appreciate any information that you may have which will allow for increased student and faculty involvement in International Health Programs.
If you have a good idea of where you want to go and what you want to do, but can't find a good opportunity on the database, please contact us! We may be able to use our network to help you set up an opportunity!
