Jennifer Stevens-Lapsley, PhD, PT

Physical Therapy Program, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus

Research interests involve a multifaceted approach to examine the physiological basis for skeletal muscle dysfunction and weakness in older adults to optimize rehabilitation interventions. More specifically, research focuses on the cause of lower extremity muscle weakness that impairs functional performance after joint arthroplasty.
Current Funding: National Institute on Aging (NIA), National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS), American Physical Therapy Association (CO Chapter), Arthritis Foundation
