- 500 (153 New Test) Verbal

- 3.5 minimum on the written assessment
- Minimum GPA
- Cumulative GPA 3.0
- Science GPA 3.0
- English as a Foreign Language Applicants
- 80 minimum score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Internet-Based test

Coursework Prerequisites
Application may be submitted without completing all prerequisite coursework, but an admission decision will not be made until all but six semester hours of prerequisite science credits are successfully completed. If prerequisite science courses are older than five years, an additional six semester hours of Upper Division basic science coursework must be completed. Combined Human Anatomy & Physiology courses are not accepted unless approved by the Director of Admissions. Prerequisite courses must be completed prior to matriculation. Courses completed with a C-minus or below are not acceptable.
- Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry & Exercise Physiology are strongly recommended in addition to the following required program prerequisite courses:

Required Observation Hours:
Observation hours must be submitted through the PTCAS application process using the provided forms.
We require a total of 45 hours of observation in 3 different settings (15 hours in each setting).
The following settings are used as an example, your settings are not limited to just these 3:
- Acute inpatient setting - 15hrs (e.g. general hospital, inpatient rehabilitation, home health)
- Outpatient setting - 15hrs (e.g. private practice clinic, school, outpatient clinic in a hospital)
- Long-term care facility - 15hrs (i.e. nursing home, home health, residential facility)
