Ms. Solanyk is the Academic Coordinator for the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program and Senior Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Anatomy from Colorado State University in 1999, then graduated from the CHA/PA Program in 2007. She has served on the CHA/PA Program faculty since 2010. She is course coordinator for Lab and Clinical Skills and co-directs the Evidence Based Medicine Course. She also teaches in small group courses, lectures on pediatric gastroenterology topics and oversees the comprehensive written examinations for 2nd and 3rd year CHA/PA students. Her research and scholarship interests are integration of Evidence Based Medicine and Information Mastery practices into the CHA/PA curriculum. She currently serves on the steering committee for the University of Colorado Urban Underserved School of Medicine Track.
