Ms. Luna-Asturias co-teaches courses within the psychosocial curriculum at the CHA/PA program. She is a native of Guatemala where she directed the counseling center at Universidad del Valle and taught several courses in the Department of Psychology. Ms. Luna-Asturias leads the Clinical International rotation at Trifinio, Guatemala, mentors the Medical Spanish course, is the liaison for the Urban Underserved Interprofessional track, and is involved in research with the Center for Global Health. Her areas of interest include dhild development, disaster relief, cultural diversity, medical education and family counseling.
