Title

Healthcare Quality, Safety and Efficiency in a Multidisciplinary Women's Pelvic Floor Center

Project Description

We are developing a multidisciplinary program including urogynecology, colorectal surgery, urology, gastroenterology and physical therapy to offer comprehensive, expedited care to women with pelvic floor disorders. There are very few programs of this nature in the country, and quality, safety and efficiency are new areas to be studied in this relatively young field of medicine. We are developing new protocols for patent scheduling, procedural processes, triage, etc, and will be setting standards of care which we hope will become nationally adopted. There are several projects within this realm.
