Title

The role of androgen receptor in breast cancer

Project Description

We have found that the androgen receptor may serve as a target for therapy in estrogen receptor (ER) positive breast cancers that do not respond to anti-estrogen therapies and also in ER negative breast cancers.  We also have a project examining a targetable pathway that produces an immunosuppressive substance secreted by aggressive breast cancers.
