Title

Female obesity and reproduction

Project Description

We are studying how obesity adversely effects reproduction.  The research has two basic components: 1. examining which specific inflammatory markers or adipokines are most closely associated with the obese, sub fertile phenotype 2. determining whether candidate molecules are able to induce temporary reproductive deficits in women who are exposed to them under controlled experimental conditions
