Title

Targeting the ALDH+ Tumorigenic Population in Colorectal Cancer

Project Description

An emerging target for the treatment of CRC is R-spondin, a secreted agonist of the Wnt signaling pathway. R-spondin binds to the LGR5 receptor and activate Wnt signaling enhancing the self-renewal of the stem cell population. The primary objective of this research project is to evaluate the efficacy of OMP-131R10 as a single agent and in combination with irinotecan. The secondary objective is to assess the mechanisms of treatment on pathway modulation and tumor growth.
