Title

Role of eosinophils in gastrointestinal dysfunction

Status

Open

Project Description

Our lab focuses on mechanisms that eosinophils participate in intestinal disease and health. Present studies are examining how eosinophils participate in intestinal remodeling and how eosinophils modulate intestinal microbiota. In vitro systems, mouse models and ex vivo models are used to study these topics. We utilize patient samples to determine proof of principle.
