Title

Brain imaging: adolescents with substance and conduct problems

Status

Open

Project Description

Dr. Sakai’s lab focuses on research to better understand the neurobiology underlying early-onset severe substance dependence and associated phenotypes such as conduct disorder and callous-unemotional traits.  This project utilizes brain imaging (MRI) to test for group differences in brain structure (grey matter volume), function (resting state and decision-making while playing a novel game) and white matter integrity.
