Tissue specific regulation of lipid partitioning and energy balance.

Project Description

My lab works with how lipids are distributed, stored and oxidized and how that affects insulin action, energy balance and body weight regulation.  The primary model is several lines of genetically-modified mice.  Relevant areas of clinical science include obesity, diabetes, CVD, and cognitive behavior.
