Fort Collins Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship

Fort Collins LIC


The Fort Collins LIC is launching in the spring of 2020 and is going to bring a brand new dynamic to the School of Medicine by combining forces with Colorado State University. This new program will feature the following clinical and community elements:

 

       Inpatient experiences at UCHealth facilities – PVH and MCR, and at Mountain Crest Behavioral Health facility

       Active medical staff of >550 physicians

       Award-winning facilities for clinical care

       High-quality community with a great reputation that is very engaged in optimizing patient care

       Ambulatory clinic sites in Fort Collins and Loveland

       At UCHealth Medical Group clinics (>500,000 visits/year), and independent clinics associated with UCHealth

       Learn from/with Family Medicine residents

       Engage in service projects throughout the community

       Participate in quality initiative in clinics and hospitals

       Interact with multidisciplinary healthcare teams who are excited to teach!

       36 weeks ambulatory longitudinal preceptorships in:

       Emergency Medicine

       Family Medicine

       Internal Medicine – primary care and subspecialty (choose options)

       OB/Gyn

       Pediatrics

       Psychiatry (includes inpatient)

       Surgery

       Immersion experiences in:

       Adult Inpatient Medicine

       Mother/Baby/Child

       Neurology

       Surgery/Trauma​
