Robert B. Rutherford Fellowship in Vascular Surgery

University of Colorado Denver – Robert B. Rutherford Fellowship in Vascular Surgery (5+2) is a newly accredited fellowship accepting applications to fill one position beginning July 1, 2014. This is a University/VA based, 2-year ACGME/RRC accredited vascular surgery training program.  The training encompasses all aspects of vascular/endovascular surgery techniques and patient care. There is broad exposure to open and endovascular techniques as well as vascular medicine. Research, teaching, and scholarship are important components of training.
Applicants must have successfully completed a General Surgery training in an ACGME accredited program and be American Board of Surgery Certified or Eligible. International medical graduates must hold a valid ECFMG certificate. Since this is a new program, that obtained ACGME/Vascular RRC certification in June, 2013, we are currently accepting applications outside the match for July 2014 start date. Applications for subsequent years will be accepted through the match and should be submitted through ERAS.

    • ABSITE scores for ALL years 
    • ACGME Surgical Operative Logs
    • Current ECFMG Certification if applicable
