Randall B. "Andy" Meacham, MD is Director of the Division of Urology in the Department of Surgery, University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Meacham received his MD degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology. Dr. Meacham is Director of the Urology Residency Program and Professor of Surgery in the Division of Urology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He is Director of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the University of Colorado Hospital.
Dr. Meacham's clinic and research interests are in the field of male reproduction and infertility. He is an internationally respected authority in this specialty area. By virtue of his training and clinical research, Dr. Meacham has significant expertise in female infertility. He is one of the bright, young leaders in the field of male reproductive medicine and surgery. He collaborates extensively with the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology (Center for Reproductive Medicine) and Radiology at the University. Because of Dr. Meacham's expertise in the field, our institution is recognized as a national referral base for male infertility problems. Dr. Meacham is much sought after nationally and internationally to moderate and to participate in many educational programs and conferences. He has authored numerous scientific papers and textbook chapters. He developed and is Co-moderator of the international ANDROLOG Internet User's Group for the study and treatment of male infertility. He serves as Medical Director of UROLINK, a national Internet based urological consultation program for the education of practicing urologists on clinical issues.
Dr. Meacham is active in national urology societies and has served as President and Secretary of the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction. Regionally he was elected by his peers to serve as President and Secretary/Treasurer of the Rocky Mountain Urologic Society. This Society is the Quality Assurance Program for the State of Colorado for all practicing urologists. He has served as Chair of the University of Colorado Hospital Credential and Privileges Committee.
