Marilyne Coulombe Mansfield, PhD

Senior Research Associate CCTCARE and Gill Laboratory

Dr. Coulombe is the lead research associate with extensive experience in immunology and islet transplantation.  She completed her BS in Microbiology at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada in 1983.  In 1987 she graduated with her MS, Experimental Medicine also at the University of Alberta.  In extramural status from the University of Alberta and in conjunction with the Barbara Davis Center of Childhood Diabetes completed her PhD in 1993, Medical Sciences/Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Coulombe provides direct supervision for the CCTCARE laboratory group and the organization, and required training of faculty, trainees, and staff supported by the Center.  Secondary duties include conducting individual research projects in the fields of transplantation and/or autoimmunity.
