Dr. Sarah Milgrom is a board-certified radiation oncologist, who joined the faculty of the University of Colorado in December 2018. She specializes in the treatment of pediatric cancers, lymphomas, and leukemias. She prioritizes individualized, compassionate care for patients and their families.
Dr. Milgrom grew up in Denver. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her medical degree from Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year. She was a member of the faculty at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX for over four years. Then, she returned to Denver to join the faculty at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Milgrom is involved in multiple national and international professional groups, including ASTRO, ARS/ACR, COG, and ILROG. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, and book chapters. Additionally, she has received multiple honors and awards, including grant funding from NASA and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Best of ASTRO recognition, and a Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award. She has been ranked in the top 1% of providers on the CAHPS national patient experience survey.
