Biennial Retreat

A Time Honored Tradition:

The Developmental Psychobiology Research Group Biennial Retreat

Our biennial retreats follow the successful format of previous retreats.  Each distinguished invited speaker presents a paper related to the theme of the conference.  Past invited speakers respond, and lead an informal discussion with the group. All invited speakers will be available for informal breakfast discussions with interested participants. This is a great opportunity to have time to speak with individuals of international reputation in a relaxed and causal environment.

An assortment of group events are typically planned to increase the opportunities for intellectual and social interaction among participants.  These include: a welcoming reception, a bar-b-que and square dance, time for hikes and other recreational activities, and an evening banquet.

The retreat is organized to advance research among Developmental Psychobiology Research Group members, post doctoral fellows and regular attendees.  However, it is open to faculty, graduate students, post-graduate trainees, and undergraduate students at all University of Colorado campuses, the University of Denver, Colorado State University, the National Jewish Medical & Research Center, the Children's Hospital, as well as many other institutions as the available space allows. Participation in a retreat is a good way to begin, renew, or continue involvement with the DPRG. We look forward to your presence at this exciting event. Details will follow for the next retreat in May 2010.
