Description of Research

​Dr. Hepburn is a clinical psychologist who directs the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Research Group at JFK Partners and supervises the clinical/diagnostic functions that serve several research projects at UC School of Medicine in epidemiology, neuropsychiatry, pediatrics, and social neuroscience. Her own research focuses upon conducting a longitudinal study of children with autism and those with other neurodevelopmental disorders, exploring the specificity of the autism phenotype, examining patterns of comorbidity across conditions, and investigating effective psychosocial interventions aimed towards treatment of core and associated symptoms of an autism spectrum disorder.
