I have had outstanding psychotherapy experiences at the clinic. I utilized three times weekly transference-focused psychotherapy, once weekly psychodynamic psychotherapy, and once weekly group supportive psychotherapy. The supervisors are terrific. I also enjoy working with my peers to discuss cases. Opportunities are abound in various individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapies. |

One of my favorite things about this clinic is our ability to provide high quality care to our patients. I can use both pharmacology and psychotherapy to help people with mental disorders and feel well-supported by the supervisors and staff. |

Co-leading the psychodynamic psychotherapy group at the University of Colorado Outpatient MH Clinic has been one of the best experiences of residency thus far. Patients in the group are invited to reflect on their own experience, and to share observations about the group itself, a process that can yield dramatic results for motivated participants. |

One of the most rewarding elements of this year is that the resident forms strong therapeutic alliances with each patient and works in a collaborative effort to find a treatment that works. |
