Department of Psychiatry

Christina provides evidence-based treatment to individuals with mood disorders and assists with a variety of research studies conducted at the Depression Center.  Current projects involve collaborative care models for mood disorders, smoking cessation and perinatal mental health.

Christina received her baccalaureate degree in Psychobiology in 1996.  She completed her doctoral degree in Anatomy & Neurobiology in 2001, conducting biomedical research for nine years before turning to the field of mental health.  After receiving her Masters degree in Social Work in 2008, Christina is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing group and individual psychotherapy for mood disorders and psychological trauma.
