    • Developed innovative syllabus and curriculum for a 2 hour/week clinic training that incorporates the teaching and discussion of the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders

Supervision and teaching of psychology externs, psychology interns, child psychiatry residents, postdoctoral fellows, The Children’s Hospital, Stress and Anxiety Program (10 hours/week), 2006-present          

 

Clinical Activities:

60% time clinical at The Children’s Hospital, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences:

Outpatient Clinic:  Provide specialized assessment and treatment of children and adolescents with anxiety disorders. 

Group Therapy:  Provide numerous psychotherapy groups per week and supervise numerous interns, externs, psychiatry fellows within these groups to provide standardized, empirically validated CBT treatment to patients and families. 

Intensive Outpatient Program:  Developed and direct the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for children and adolescents with anxiety disorders.

Intake Disposition Rounds:  Participate in coordination of the review, staffing and assignment of new intakes to TCH.

Consultation and Evaluation:  Provide consultation and evaluation services to the Psychiatric Day Treatment Program, the Psychiatric Intensive Services Programs, The Eating Disorders Program and other services within the Childrens Hospital

Supervision of Trainees Includes individual and group supervision as well as seeing patients with trainees in individual and group treatment format.  Additionally, teach a 1x/week clinical training course attended by all of the trainees described below.
