  • Research interests include assessment and intervention of TBI and comorbidities, the impact of executive dysfunction on suicide and other poor psychiatric outcomes, and treatment development, evaluation and implementation

 

Clinical and research responsibilities include:

  • Coordinator of clinical TBI screening programs for the outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Program and the PTSD Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program in the ECHCS VA
  • Providing consultation to mental health and medical providers regarding Veterans with co-occurring TBI and psychiatric problems
  • Providing consultation to mental health and medical providers regarding Veterans who may be at risk for suicide
  • Disseminating and implementing education regarding TBI, dual diagnoses and their impact on psychiatric outcomes, including suicide

 

Academic/Training responsibilities include:

MIRECC Training Committee member (includes training of psychology doctoral practicum students and interns and post-doctoral fellows): Facilitating clinical supervision, research mentorship and professional development.
