Dr. Deborah Hayes, MA, PhD, a professor with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, is a collaborating member of the Teleaudiology Project, an endeavor to provide remote diagnosis of infant hearing loss on the island of Guam. Along with Dr. Susan Dreith of the Bill Daniels Center for Children's Hearing and the University of Guam CEDDARS Guam Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) project, the groundbreaking testing will provide parents indication whether or not their infant has a hearing loss.
