Our 6-week pediatric clerkship will provide clinical and educational experiences to allow students to achieve defined competencies in the medical care of children, ranging in age from newborn to adolescence.
All students will have experiences in inpatient and outpatient settings. They will be exposed to well child care and development, acute care, and the management of hospitalized patients and those with chronic diseases.
This site is designed to make it easy for you to gather the resources you need, whether you are currently completing the Infant, Child, and Adolescent Care Block or just investigating the offerings.
Our online Student Course Manual (.pdf) describes the required pediatric training for CU School of Medicine students. Additional reading materials from the Core Lecture series are also provided on this page.
For further information regarding core competencies, grading and assessment, and other rotation details, please see the School of Medicine's .
Please note: This course does not offer training for students from other institutions.
