As part of the Pediatric Fellowship Education Series, the Committee on Fellowship Education is pleased to once again offer the 2015 Pediatric Biostatistics Course. This six-week long clinician focused course will be taught by Genie Roosevelt, MD, MPH, Associate Professor of Pediatrics.
Develop your ability to be a critical consumer of the literature.
Enhance your ability to discuss statistical issues about your research.
Develop familiarity with many commonly used statistical methods.
Determine when you should seek assistance from a statistician.
Who can take this course?
This course is primarily intended for 2nd and 3rd year Department of Pediatrics fellows as part of the comprehensive fellowship educational program. We may be able to accommodate additional participants, including junior faculty members and trainees from outside of the Department of Pediatrics, on a first-come, first-served basis.
When will this course occur?
The course will be held from 5:00-7:00 pm on six Wednesday evenings in the School of Medicine's ED2 South Building (2nd floor - Room 2305).

What are the course requirements and how much does it cost?
There are attendance requirements for this course. In order to receive a certificate of completion, a fellow must attend at least five of the six sessions and also complete the post course assessment.
Cost is $150.00 per participant, which includes course materials and dinner. Payment is expected prior to the first session on the following due date: Friday, January 9, 2014.
