Hospital Training Sites

Locations where our residents perform their rotations.

Residents at the University of Colorado have the opportunity to develop their skills as a physician in multiple clinical settings. Residents rotate between the University of Colorado Hospital, Denver Health Medical Center, and Rose Medical Center.  By rotating through an academic institution as well as a regional referral site, the county hospital and a private hospital, residents are exposed to a wide variety of clinical situations and diverse patient populations.

University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) is the primary teaching hospital of the residency program and of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. It is located on the University of Colorado Denver Campus. Since its founding in 1921, UCH has become the region’s leading tertiary care and referral center.
