Clinical research plays a central role in the overall mission of the Rocky Mountain Alzheimer’s Disease Center. Our research team is investigating the underlying causes of and potential treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders using observational studies and clinical trials. Our researchers are studying people with mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias, and Down syndrome. We are also studying the normal aging process in people who have volunteered to serve as healthy aging controls.
We value the contribution of all of our volunteers. To them, we say a hearty “thank you” – they are making a difference through their active participation in our clinical research studies.
