Why this test is done: The test is done to measure the time it takes nerves to respond to stimuli.
What to expect: Electrodes will be taped to your scalp. Stimuli is then delivered. Examples include strobe lights, electrical impulses, or clicking noises. The technician will then record the responses.
How to prepare: Come to your appointment with clean hair, free of any styling gels or sprays.
