Clinical Practice
Dr. Damek sub-specializes in neuro-oncology. Her clinical focus treats primary brain tumors, systemic cancer that has spread to the nervous system, and the remote effects of cancer on the nervous system (paraneoplastic disorders). Specific interests are primary central nervous system lymphoma and quality of life as a surrogate outcome of treatment. Dr. Damek is a part of a multidisciplinary brain tumor treatment group that includes Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology, Neuropathology, Neuroradiology, Nursing and Social Services. She sees patients at the University of Colorado Hospital Anschutz Centers for Advanced Medicine at the Fitzsimons campus.
